Fusion Applied was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Capital Youth Cricket Tournament 2017 this month. Teams from across the United states participated in the tournament held in Laurel, Maryland to contest the top honors in the Under 13 and Under 15 category. Over 500 kids from 14 teams and six states along the east coast all took part in the action.

Fusion Applied provided the official mobile app for the tournament in the Google and Apple app stores. The application enabled the teams and the fans to view Match Schedules, Live Scores, Team Rankings, Tournament Rule Book, Weather Conditions at the grounds, Directions to Ground Addresses, Notifications from organizers etc.
The app was built using Oracle Mobile Cloud Service (MCS) and Mobile Application Framework (MAF). MCS and MAF were instrumental in helping us to create and release this app to both Google and Apple app store in under 2 weeks.
Oracle MAF is Oracle’s hybrid application development platform for cross-platform mobile application development. Oracle MAF provides a visual and declarative development experience and maximizes code reuse resulting in faster development of mobile applications.
Mobile Cloud Service is Oracle’s answer to Mobile Backend As A Service (MBaaS). Oracle MCS simplifies and secures the process of connecting your mobile applications to your enterprise systems and any other cloud services.
